Lumos! Witness the magical transformation of the AAC studios - turned into a Hogwarts wonderland! Join us for a fun-filled day of all things Harry Potter. Students will be sorted into houses, make their own wands, make some Harry Potter themed ornaments and other crafts, go through a Tri-Wizardry tournament style obstacle course, and more! This offers parents a few days to finish up last minute holiday shopping while sending your kids on a fun adventure. Shibori is known to be one of the oldest fabric dying techniques in Japan. Learn traditional folding and dying techniques in order to create fashion-forward couture! Students will dye a scarf and a handkerchief (both provided). Students will also need to bring their own 100% cotton t-shirt to dye.

Focus on observational drawing and acrylic painting skills. Gestures, tone, shading, proportion, shape, line, and value are some of the skills covered. Working with a draped life model, students explore the technical and perceptual skills needed to confidently use drawings as a base for paintings. This is also an excellent portfolio builder. Tuition includes cost of lunch.
